Troubleshooting connections

Common failure modes when a key or connection stops working.

401 / Invalid credentials

The key was rotated or revoked at the provider. Generate a new one and paste it into Settings → Keys.

429 / Rate limited

Your provider account hit a quota. Wait for the reset window, upgrade the provider plan, or spread work with agent scheduling.

OAuth 'app not verified' warnings

Google shows this on staging tenants until the shared Hi5Agents OAuth client finishes review for your specific scope. Production uses the verified client — no warning.

Nothing appears in Approvals

Check the agent's schedule. Some agents (e.g. NewsletterPro) only queue proposals on their configured cadence. The agent status page shows the last run and next scheduled run.
